Pick a species to see its open season and limits across all Ontario zones. Each page is built from the same official regulation engine used by the app, then linked to tactics and FishDex context where we have it.

How to use the species directory

Start with the fish, then confirm the zone. Ontario rules are not one-size-fits-all: walleye, bass, pike, muskie, trout and salmon can have different open dates, size notes, and sport/conservation limits from one fisheries management zone to the next.

When you know the water, move from this directory into the exact zone or water page. TackleDex turns that pre-trip research into an on-water check with private catch logging and FishDex progress.
