What this answer means on the water

The Zone 1 rule is the default answer for northern pike, not a promise that every lake, river, sanctuary, or stocked water follows the same rule. Before keeping fish, check the exact waterbody name, any exception table, the licence class you are fishing under, and the size notes above.

TackleDex is built for that last-mile check: open the app at the launch, verify the species and zone, then keep the answer with your private catch log instead of guessing from memory.
